Score Seed and Garden Supply is your one stop shop for all things Lawn and Garden. Formerly known as Sweeney’s Seed Company, we have been a staple in the Claymont and North Wilmington area for more than 25 years now. In early 2011, the Claymont branch of Sweeney’s Seed was sold to Len Scorziello. Len changed the name to “Score Seed” paying homage to his last name. In January of 2021, the store was sold to Joe and Phil Kleiman who also the landscaping company Delaware Lawn Crew. Since taking over Joe and Phil have been working hard to grow the business to its fullest potential. In Late 2022, Joe and Phil were presented with an opportunity to buy 207 and 211 Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington, two properties that would fit the needs of Score Seed perfectly. As of December 31st, 2022 Score Seed has relocated to that location and no longer occupies the former location in Claymont.
